First Conditional

A REAL POSSIBILITY IN THE PRESENT AND/OR THE FUTURE

IF/WHEN + PRESENT SIMPLE + FUTURE SIMPLE

The first conditional is used to talk about a real possibility in the present or future. It means that both the action and the result are possible to occur in real life.

If/when I travel to Japan, I will visit Tokyo.
If/when she writes her essay, it will be the best essay in her class.
If/when we play football tomorrow, we will play in the rain.
If/when I find a treasure, I will share it with my family.
