An airport is a busy place where planes take off and land, linking different cities all over the world. They work well because different parts are important and work together.

To begin, planes can move around on runways and taxiways. Terminals are large buildings with check-in desks, security checks, and gates where planes take off and land. ATCs in tall towers keep everyone safe by guiding planes on the ground and in the air.

Services on the ground, such as refueling, maintenance, and handling of bags, help planes get ready for their next trips fast. There are checks to make sure that everything and everyone is safe because safety is very important.

There are also other buildings at airports that are used for businesses, cargo storage, and fixing planes. Not every airport is as big, and some only handle smaller planes or private trips.

When you put it simply, airports are like planned villages where planes, people, and services all come together to make flying possible. As a way to link the world, they help people and things get from one place to another.
